COMMENDABLE EFFORT

I've seen it through you,

I've felt it through- too.

The mist looming behind,

Beauty- none of its kind.

And the urge is strong,

To end this walk- so long.

& to step into the zion,

To absorb the soothing violin.

To enter into the gulf,

To get & to be engulfed.

To give in to your grace,

To, and to be embraced.

And the urge is strong,

And it has been so long.

But a yard still remains,

And its driving me insane.

I've always restrained,

Feared, I might stain.

I've always stood austere,

Yet yearning to get near.

But the urge is strong,

And I've restrained so long.

To pull you close & gird,

& that is- a Commendable Effort.
